Chris set the course today and what a doozy it turned out to be for the gang of 7 – Chris, Dave U., Rob, Stephen, Bevan, Ed, and Dave. Ian once again ventured out on his own. 🙁
Hug the shoreline around the island to Deadman’s then back to the shark pin, Polar Bear, Dirty cone and home. 1.82kms ventured in a reasonable amount of time despite the stops along the way. The water temp was a delightful 18.6C.
Dave’s deep tissue massage put paid to his efforts today, having to pull out on the swim back to the shark pin… Still it was 1.40km nonetheless.
