This is a fun swim. Swim to the end of the island and regroup. Head to the “shark pin” YA post off Edwards Beach, head into the cones off Balmoral Beach Club, head back to the SI Post, find two cats further across and swim through them – check for traffic first as Rob and Stephen found out the hard way… – then head back to the dirty cone to finish. 1.68kms according to google.
The idiots, Stephen, Bevan, Rob, Ed, Dave U and Dave swam this one on 8 September 2020. The 8th of September is also my brother Tim’s birthday. Happy Birthday Tim.
