To advise that at the extraordinary AGM at the Post this morning, there was a quorum & a decision by the “Faceless Committee”, to hold the Annual Idiots’ Cobblers Beach Swim this Friday….the 13th! How appropriate…..
This would allow for Bevan, our fearless leader, to participate given his absence on Jan. 26 (the other proposed date) .
We are hoping that all can be available…..suggest a 6 am meeting at the Stairs…suitably attired in Magnificent 7 IDIOT T-shirts.
Cap & goggles affixing time approx. 6.10 am…for the 2.3 – 2.4 km swim…..gulp……
Matt McGuire is a starter (I’m speaking with him now)….Rob. J for sure…no Pilates….and Chris will bring his camera for recording the event.
Please….taper appropriately….& load up on the carbs Thursday evening everyone.
I’ll think about a suitable gift for all successful finishers…and worry significantly about those that don’t.
