Rowing update! It’s a third in the heats behind Germany and Romania in gusty conditions means it’s through to the repercharge tomorrow. The first two boats from the repercharge go to the A-final. The good news is that they were in the faster heat so should give tomorrow’s rivals (Team GB, France and China) a real run for their money. After the race, Roo said they have rowed better in the past so there’s plenty of scope for improvement. Fingers crossed for a great result tomorrow.

Rowing up-up-date. Second in the repechage behind France but ahead of team GB and China means Roo is through to the A-final on Thursday. Yeay!!! They started strong and withstood a strong charge from those annoying Brits in the last 500m to secure their place in the Big One. Thursday should be fun – they’re the underdogs, so nothing to lose.
