Quality not quantity… 3

From 9 people yesterday to a small hard core group of 3 this morning – Bevan, Sutho & Richard. An agreement by all 3 swimmers to go easy to the outward marker ensured we all got there within a body length of each other – perfect. The water was like a ‘lake’ or was that ‘millpond’ –  Sutho and Richard mixing metaphors – but perfect conditions this  morning although a  little dark at the start!

Homeward bound – around Gwyn, to the island and then 2nd cone. The thrasher altered course to give Sutho a scare on the way in and no sign of the tosser from yesterday that gave Rob a serve for daring to swim in the same area.

Indeed…a small core of Idiots saw no arguing, bickering or sledging…a pleasant change. And a pleasant pace with pleasant blokes…. actually a bloody bloke love in it was! As for the idiot wannabees, well, pull your togs up, man up, shave down, get a cap and see ya soon.

Great post Richard and good to see that you have mastered it. I look forward to reading more of your contributions. The irony of telling Sutho to be on time is not lost on me 🙂

I’m not sure whether tinea-gate was appreciated so I have removed all references to it.

Sorry for not being there this morning…dropping son at swimming at 5.30am in Nth Syd prevented backing up.
I will be back…just to try to bump into that nutter in the baby blue cap!
