Stephen, Richard, Bevan and Dave lined up for the swim this morning with Stephen looking out for Sutho to no avail. Mike’s son, Tom, bravely joined us without hesitation and swam in boardshorts no less. A fine effort Tom. Well done!
Dave was given a head-start (thanks fellas), narrowly missed (bee’s dick) colliding with Linda at the first set of cones, and was first to reach the post followed closely by Stephen, Richard, Bevan, and Tom. Around Gwen to the island, Dave was finally able to keep pace with the guys for a change which he found surprising. Heading to Almora Street cone and the beach, the pecking order was re-established with Dave finishing last. Meanwhile, Tom made it back safely and may be joining the idiots again tomorrow.
Distance covered today was about 955 metres. The sun finally decided to show itself around 6.50am. A perfect start to the week considering the forecast showers for later in the day.
I can feel the lurv……!
Superb morning and swim …and for the record – we missed you Sutho!
Humble apologies as a hectic schedule saw me unable to get down. Additionally, I didn’t have any batteries in my torch to light the way down to the beach…. SERIOUSLY, when does daylight savings finish… enough already! It doesn’t help when Cameron says
” and dad,the sharks love the early morning darknesss! #@!^**!!! ”
See ya in the morning !
Cam sounds like my Mother! You missed a beauty as you can see from the photos. Stark contract to how it looks now! The weatherman got it right for a change…
I have removed the moderation function so you guys can post/comment at will. I will continue to proof-read however ;)…
