With just over a week to go till the offical start of Summer, Dave gave his brand new wetsuit a test run this morning. Luckily it worked well and Dave it successfully kept him warm despite the “bitter Balmoral conditions” (err….??). It was also great to see Bev back at Balmoral after breaking his bike somewhere near Brissy and having to return to our shores by plane. Judy’s big news is that she’s in spitting distance of having the house to herself again! And in an exciting development, there are reports that John M has donned his swimming shorts and is taking to the water again.
Water temp is around 19.6 (I think) and apart from a couple of chilly bits near the surface, it’s extremely pleasant (with our without a wetsuit!).
