Bottles of Sicillian Whites, Classic Barossa Shiraz’s, Snappy Citrus Margaret River Semillon Sauvignons and copious beers were not enough to deter the Idiots from their first swim of the New Year.
Di was there to snap these photos, Christine turned up a little later, Tony swimming, whilst dear ‘ole Robert was escorted from the water after his dip & of course…. true to form, ‘Where’s Dave” was ….well….late & looking for us near the post….IDIOT !
The lads completed a traditional Friday around the island swim in choppy sou’easterly conditions….nearly grounding themselves at the headland. Warmer in (21.6 degrees) than out ! First cone was enough and back to a couple of Cats and home for a terrific , head-clearing 1 km + swim.
Coffees at Pasture and a Haselnuss Schnapps to kick-start the New Year….some resplendent in their JUMANJI gear !
