There were plenty of tiny fish in the shallows this morning that had the seagulls in a flap. I tried to photograph the fish but the contrasting colours of the sky and clouds made it difficult, if not impossible.
Chris, Judy, Dave U. and Dave were the only offshore idiots braving the conditions this morning. The Inshore Idiots were well represented with Linda, Rod, Gayle, Di, Janice, Judith and John, Robert, Bob, Mike, Malcolm & Chris, Catherine (almost indistinguishable when she is brandishing the shower cap), Ian, Vic & Rosey, and Bunny… taking the plunge.
The course for us was to head around a nicely appointed cruiser haling from the Gold Coast, on to a catamaran up from Tassie, and across to the post.
The water temp was a superb 19C but the wind blowing across the water was icy.
Off to the island next and quickly back to the steps to maintain some blood flow. A chilly exit from the water, dried and dressed in record time, then coffee beckoned.
Great pics Dave – love the wave shot. And I think you CAN see the little fishies in that sandy-looking shot. Nice work!
Thanks Chris. I forgot how much fun it is to get amongst it 🙂
