There goes another week! Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?! The Friday numbers were slightly down but those attending enjoyed a warm start both in and out of the water. Heading around the island today were Judy, Dave, and Chris. Chris was trying out his new wetsuit which he purchased from the Aqua Shop at Gordon (that’s where some of us idiots get our gear). Chris was gliding at warp speed and almost gave himself whiplash each time he stopped and waited for Dave to catch up. There were a few fishing boats around the island to navigate through, and then it was off to the far cone but not before colliding with another idiot from the dark side. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Judy swam strongly as per usual and arrived at the cone first, with Chris a close second. Chris is loving his new threads though I suspect he would have been a tad warm in the 19.5C water.
We headed back to Bevan’s rock and were joined by Richard who had been pounding the pavement. Idiot! 😉 After a brief chat we headed to the beach and then it was off to La Repubblica for a coffee. Perfect.
A smaller contingent of Seasoned Idiots comprising Tony, Meg, Linda, Claire, Judith, Sally, Di, Kerstin, Gail, Louise, Malcolm & Chris, Deb, Ken, Catherine, and Robert also enjoyed the favourable conditions.
Stephen is up up and away but I snapped some pics of him the other day and it’s good to see that the BJs are still around at this time of the year, as are Rob and Sutho. Impressive 🙂 Now what about that Matt M. character?
Sutho, we are considering a cooking club and thought that ‘maybe’ you would like to join. Sanney is great with the Anzacs. Mat & Judy love to chat about a good recipe. I tend to over-do the honey… Chris gets too technical. Let’s know if you want to be included in the emails. Bevan
