(Monday) Whilst the swim at 8.30am was uncrowded and terrific, I was a little spooked by the small stingray that drifted under me at the very Northern corner of the beach (the 2nd time I’ve seen that creature). I know friends who have trodden on them and the pain is something I do not want to experience. So be warned….northern corner is its preferred area.
I spoke to Mr Cottesloe (Matt McGuire) on the phone after my swim & he had the same experience with a 2 ft wide Stingray in Cottesloe 2 days ago!
