I headed to Melbourne last Wednesday for the auspicious occasion of the marriage of my niece Alexandra. It was raining when we left Sydney and raining when we arrived in Melbourne. The weather however did not dampen my enthusiasm to be back in Melbourne after a 20 year break.
We checked into our our lodgings at Quay West. What a top spot to set up camp. On the 21st floor, we had commanding views of the city. Our three bedroom apartment was luxurious.
