For those of us making it down to the beach this week, we were treated to some spectacular early morning light shows, cloud formations, and green hues in the crystal clear water. The moon in its various cycles was equally beautiful.
Bevan rejoined the offshore idiots comprising Dave, Dave, and Chris. Judy battles on with a cough that won’t quit. However, she did manage to make it into the water a couple of times. Richard’s swimming duration, well, enunciating the word ‘duration’ was longer than most of his swims… 😉
Inshore idiots such as Rod, Pam, Robert, Malcolm & Chris, Bunny, Janice, Josey, Judith, Meg, Ruth, Claire, Peter, Louise, Rob, Tony, Lachlan, Sally, and some bloke (with a brown Weimeraner that grumbles every time his master isn’t around), were all regulars this week. Sutho can be spotted on the weekends but perhaps is an afternoon swimmer too?
Linda suffering from a similar affliction to Judy was absent from the water for most of the week. Distrodamus has also been away this week due to illness. It would have been interesting to see how close to the mark her predictions could have been… There’s always next week 🙂
Tony was enjoying a quick dip this morning before heading to Queenstown for some skiing. Happy travels Tony! The wind was howling but that didn’t deter Louise from heading in. When I was down by the Raglan St. cone, I noticed that there was only one other person in the water, far, far, away. Sensational to have this all to myself.

Great pics Mr Dave!!
Great photos Dave & please I missed the dip this morning…can’t believe my ‘tea-bag’ dips on Thursday & Friday (in your presence) don’t qualify for the roll call. It’s a tough school you run.
Thanks Richard 🙂 You’re presence and swims were commented on in the second paragraph. Top billing I’d say 😉
Thanks for the update Dave, and the missing-in-action mention, I have missed being there! Have had the most horrendous flu, hopefully back on Monday. Today (Sunday) Venus and the fingernail moon should again be nudging each other in the sky, just before sunrise, worth getting up early to see it, skies permitting. Distrodamus
