Hi Guys, if ever there were a test to qualify as a Swimming Idiot – perhaps this is it:
‘Being so focused on the job of filming for my swim idiot friends (having dutifully invested in their recommended Go Pro), that when a friendly whale calf swam over to say ‘Gooday’ – rather than heeding ‘mum’ blowing her ‘horn’ nor thinking about the possibility of the protective mother giving me an almighty slap with her ‘ginormous’ tail as she swam up to me to take her inquisitive baby back to swim away into the Blue Yonder, I naturally put duty above self and kept on filming… like a true idiot!
