It really was a dark and stormy night!
And I can assure you that Balmoral is a cold, dark, lonely place at 5.40am!!!
Your intrepid reporter valiantly strode into the 17 degree water (thanks Ruth) all alone despite the weather and almost total darkness and, as it happens, had a fabulous swim – SANS WETSUIT I might add!
Janice braved the conditions just as I was emerging and I believe Tony showed up as well.
A little bit later Dave U and Chris went in followed by Ruth and Bunny.
Very quiet down there today.
