Cant resist posting this shot of Linda and canine friend at La Republica. Not sure which one is the happier!
And in other news, Bev is out of hospital and taking a few days in WA to recover before heading back to Sydney. Hope you get back to 100% soon!
Bevan get better indeed…the water temp. is now 21 degrees+…so the BJ’s are back…and so is Belle….great swim this morning..Dave & Dave, Chris,Rob & Judy….Dave S. radar still on the blink and swimming in semi-circles to the cone….whilst Rob & I are puffing like Billy Goats to keep up with the pack.
Get well to Ruth too…who I hear is doing some hospital time as well…..not the same with yout you both. We live in hope to see matt mcguire back soon too.
Well described Stephen! Foggy goggles again. Finding the post was difficult in the blinding sun, but the swim home was especially long when I discovered I was swimming towards Balmoral Sailing Club! The water was sensational today – 21.5C.
We hope that both Bevan and Ruth are back to full strength soon and look forward to seeing them.
Where is the other BJ, Matt, and Ian?
Dave,
do not worry…I will be making a return if the water is 21.5 degrees. My absence can be explained by the fact that I was surfing this morning at North Steyne…BUT…I will be back
Great news Matt. Tomorrow perhaps?
Swam 1.2 km at 5.45 am this morning.
One other swimmer and that was it…bewdiful.
Where’s the fun in that Ian when you could be swimming with a pack of idiots including one with a faulty compass… I probably swam 1.2kms myself 😉
