Rob joined me SBJ (the other Richard) for the big Sydney Harbour Splash at Rose Bay to celebrate Australia Day.
A long 2.5 km course…..with Rob bravely swimming with a broken foot & a flipper !
Olympian Cate Campbell impressing with 15.48 secs in the 1km dash….the male winner beating her only by 30 secs.
Winner of 2.5 km finished in just under 27 mins….whilst Rob J finished gloriously in just under 43 mins and me a shy under 42 mins. (we beat home some young gun who did the 5km race in just over 52 mins…just phenomenal).
Happy to hit dry land again & celebrate with Rob for a brekkie back in Mosman.

    Well done gents – keeping up the Australia Day tradition of Swimming Idiots doing the big swim. What happened to the Opera house event?
