I’ve found some like-minded idiots – 2 delightful ladies (Hawaiian equivalents of Judy!) got me to join them for their swim this morning.
I was planning my regular gentle 250m swim out to the wind-sock & back (might be visible in the photos) when I was encouraged to keep going a bit further out. That turned out to be another 500m (!) but I got to discover why they go out so far – crystal clear waters, sandy ocean bottom with turtles & fish to keep me excited.
I just kept pace with them both (these ladies could go!) & enjoyed a cracker of a swim. On reaching shore I was ‘high-fived’ & asked back at 7.30am tomorrow! The water is about 26 degrees – you guys probably wouldn’t like it….
