hard to believe, but sunrise is now getting later – earliest sunrise would have been about 5th Dec, by Sunday it is already 2 minutes later at 5.42am! And by the way, if you were wondering about that sudden cold current last month, look up the Ekman effect, strong southerlies cause a west to east bulk flow of surface water, which is then replaced by upwellings of cold water.
