We regularly come across a myriad of marine species at Balmoral and are often clueless as to what they are. Bluebottles and jimbles certainly leave their mark but more fascinating and less frightening are the shovel-nosed rays, skates, stingarees, salps, sea-turtles, fairy penguins, flatheads… and the list goes on and on. These pages will build over time as we make new discoveries.
