In rain, wind and rough seas, Judy and Bevan, this morning, proved their true idiot status with a swim out to the post, around “Gwen”, back to the first cone and in to the beach. The water was pretty grotty between the beach and the cones, but further out became clearer and warm. The water was rough and we encountered quite a few of Dave’s jelly fish friends. Judy was ecstatic to be back in the salt water again after a 3 week sojourn in Europe, where her one and only swim was in the Fenlands Leisure Centre pool in Wisbech, Cambs, where the predominant swimming style is side stroke!!
Post swim coffee at the Bathers with Linda and Bevan was well earned!

Richard and I likely to be both away for next 2 weeks… surfing trip to North Sumatra on Friday…. and I’m trying to get all work done before I go…
Darkness and rain filled Balmoral will keep us out as well as we try and keep fit and no ear infections before the trip!

Welcome back Judy. I paddled through the crap on Saturday and Cameron told me that while sailing yesterday, every wave that washed over the boat, left dirt and crap all over it. I may be an idiot BUT I am going to Vegas on Saturday, so do not need an ear or throat infection before I leave.Therefore, enjoy the swims and will see you on my return when it is light!
