Perfect swimming conditions today for another end of the week round the island swim. Is it just me or did this week fly past?
Striking out today were Stephen, Matt, Bruce, Bevan, Chris, Dave U, and Dave S. I tried enticing one lady to join us but alas she was short on time. Perhaps next time…
My pre-swim routine included walking with Robyn, pausing for a photoshoot with Chris and meditating on the beach. The stretch and meditation must have helped as I swam a bit more relaxed for a change. The water was nice and clear and a few schools of fish were spotted near the island.
Leading the pack in pursuit of the bait (moi) were Bruce, Stephen, Matt, Dave, and Bevan. Chris was loping along with a water-logged camera strapped to his waist. Arriving at the Edwards Beach far cone after Bruce, Stephen, Dave U, and Matt, were moi, Bevan, and Chris. A bit of floating and relaxing ensued and then it was time to swim back without hitting anything. Lovely!
See you all on Sunday for the Xmas Party which is sure to be memorable. Apparently nippers will be on Sunday also so best to get to the beach earlier to secure a parking spot for those of us who are driving.
A great end to the week Dave….a perfect morning….my first 5 days in a row for many a while….
