I checked the official constitution of The Swimming Idiots and it states in clause 152(c):

”wetsuits are no longer deemed to be necessary when the water temperature reaches at least 18c when measured over a significant period of idiot time. In case of dispute, a meeting st Bevans Rock shall be convened by Bevan for further review”

In reply to Stephen. The ruling has always been that if its Spring and the temp has hit 18C, the wetsuits come off (hopefully you are wearing Speedos underneath). See the by-laws. I thinks its on Page 152 of Swimming Idiots Rules and Regulations.. Check with Linda for the ruling.:-) See you tomorrow.

Sorry Dave…..you can’t just turn up on one day & make that call.
Bevan is the official arbiter on when wetsuits can be put on & taken off…..so good try…but the IDIOTS have referred this to the Board and your proposal has been rejected.
We’ll await Bevan’s return on Oct. 24.
